County College
Often hidden in history, women have made contributions to the culture
and economy of all countries. Women have been the force behind many
social movements including the Civil Rights Movement and the Labor Reform
Movement. Both as leaders and as the support that made these movements
possible, women created the world of today. Ongoing research continues
to unearth the roles individuals and groups of women played from the time
of Ancient Greece and Rome to today. Burlington County College, with
the Women's Studies Focus, hopes to increase knowledge of women's achievements.
