BCC's spring 2003 production of A
Witches' Tale was the first production presented by the newly formed
student drama club, Lamplight Players. A Witches' Tale was
directed by BCC Theatre student and drama club president, Kevin Brophy
the playbill contained the following note.
DIRECTOR'S NOTES
The most magnificent thing about theatre is the
flexibility of the entire entity of performance. Imagination is the
only limit. To create something from nothing and have the audience,
if even for a moment, believe and feel that what is happening to these
players on stage is real, then the goal we have set has been accomplished.
We are student directed, student acted, student designed and student built.
We are the Lamplight Players and we are here to entertain. -K
