Lamplight Players Award
The Lamplight Players Award is available to graduating Burlington
County College students who will be continuing to pursue studies in the
performing arts or performing arts education. The award recognizes
students who possess the talent, desire and dedication to continue in the
performing arts.
2002-2003 CELESTER RICH
(First Winner of the Lamplight Players Award)
Celester (Les)
Rich wants to pursue a career as a professional actor, either on stage
or in film. After graduating from Burlington County College he will
continue his studies at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New
York. His theatre experience with the Lamplight Players at BCC includes
MacBeth (A Witches' Tale),
Wilbur (Charlotte's Web) and TV Man (Captive Audience).
Les also directed Slam the Door Softly on the BCC stage.
2003-2004 KEVIN BROPHY
Kevin Brophy
will attend Monclaire University as a BFA Theatre student. His theatre
experience with the Lamplight Players at BCC includes performances as Templeton,
Avery and Lurvy (Charlotte's Web), MacDuff (A Witches' Tale),
Sidney (California Suite), Priest (Business Lunch at the Russian
Tea Room) and Tad (School of the Americas). While at BCC
Kevin also directed Sure Thing, A Witches' Tale and California
Suite, Stage Managed Grease and served as the President of the
Lamplight Players.
2004-2005 SEBASTIAN FRAY
Sebastian
Fray has been accepted at the Savannah School of Art and Design and
will begin
his studies in Lighting Design in the Fall of 2005. Sebastian has
worked with the Lamplight Players during the 2003-2004 and
2004-2005 seasons as the light board operator
for California Suite, Grease and The Diary of Anne Frank. He has performed in the
children's show, Alice Through the Looking Glass and as the master
electrician and light board operator for Annie Get Your Gun.
