Joe Kazimierczyk

Joe Kazimierczyk, or Joe Kaz for short, is a landscape painter working in a style of traditional realism. Joe frequently paints on location, en plein air, and usually depicts the area he knows best: central New Jersey and Bucks County, Pa. Primarily self-taught, Joe has been painting for many years, and his work has received much recognition in the time that he has been exhibiting.

His awards include the following: 1st Place for Oil Painting - 2008, Hunterdon Land Trust Alliance - The Art of Conservation - HLTA Benefit Auction; Lacey Family Award for small landscape in oil - 2008, Phillips Mill - 79th Annual Juried Art Exhibition; 2nd Place - 2006, Friends of the Delaware Canal - From Easton to Bristol, Scenes from the Valley; Best in Show, Painting - 2006, Trenton City Museum - Ellarslie Open XXIV; Shaun M. Miller Memorial Award for Small Landscape or Still Life in oil - 2005, Phillips Mill - 76th Annual Juried Art Exhibition; Promotion Selection Award - 2005, The Delaware River Mill Society - Images of the Mills 2005; and Purchase Award - 2005, Mercer County Cultural & Heritage Commission - Mercer Artists 2005.
