How to use JerseyCat

To Make a Request...

1. Click on the cat to get to the JerseyCat website.
2. Enter your terms and use the drop-down menus to search by All Headings, Title, Author, Subject, or document number. You can combine terms using and, or, and not. Click the Search button at the top or bottom of the page.



3. The program will search each library for possible matches to your request. Click on the title from the list that you wish to borrow.



8. Confirm that it is indeed the correct item and click on on the top right side.

9. Fill in these fields on the ILL Request Form: Patron Name; Create a Password; Library Card Number (the barcode number on the back of your library card); and Phone/Fax/ Email.

10. Click button at the top of the page.

To Check On a Request:

1. Click on the image below to get to the JerseyCat Patron Menu website.

2. Enter Patron name and Password that you filled in when the request. Click submit and the status of your request will display.
