Getting a Library Card

Burlington County College Library cards are issued to all BCC Students taking credit courses at
the College, all BCC Faculty and all BCC staff members. BCC Library cards provide access to a
wealth of print, non-print, media and online resources. Your College ID serves as your BCC
Library Card. See below for information on obtaining an ID/Library Card. Additional
information about ID cards can also be found on the Public Safety website at:
http://staff.bcc.edu/security/index.asp?pg=7

Your BCC Library card not only entitles you to use on-campus facilities and resources, it also
allows certain privileges to other Burlington County Library System resources and off-campus
access to various electronic resources and databases. Because of this, we are required to
positively verify your identity when issuing or renewing a Library card. Library cards expire
after three (3) years and must be renewed in person. Government issued photo identification
must be shown at the time of renewal.

Please click the link below for the proper form to request a 60-day temporary barcode. The
temporary barcode, once issued, can be used to access our online resources and is intended to
provide up to two months time for you to visit one of our campuses or centers so that you can
obtain a proper Student ID/Library card. Temporary barcodes are only offered to students who
do not have face-to-face classes at the campuses or centers where ID/Library cards are issued
regularly. Please be advised that your barcode will only be sent to your BCC provided email
address and that it may take from 3-5 business days, since we have to verify that you meet the
