Staff Benefits Overview


Burlington County College offers its employees some tax-deferred plans that provide many tax advantages and a great way to save for retirement. These plans allow employees to set aside a portion of their salary on a before-tax basis, providing an essential supplement to their retirement plan and social security benefits. Participants do not pay any federal income taxes on the amounts they contribute, until the funds are withdrawn from the account. Listed below is a chart listing the tax advantages and companies participating in these tax-deferred plans.
