Healthcare, the largest service industry
in the U.S., is now responding to the same market forces that have
dramatically changed most other service
and manufacturing businesses over the past decade. Informed and
assertive consumers, new technologies and
ferociously competitive markets have caused the revolution. In
keeping pace with these rapid changes,
staff members of the Health Information Technology program strives
to implement the most current professional
practice in the learning environment using state-of-the-art equipment
and resources.
Within the last
decade, career opportunities have dramatically increased in the field of health
information

Labor Statistics cites health information management as one in twenty of the
fastest
growing career fields in the 21st Century. Our goal is to prepare students for
entry-level positions as
health information technicians in
traditional as well as non-traditional facilities/agencies.
Our
credentialed instructors are dedicated to the commitment of preparing students
to become professionals in
the
field of health information management and face the multitude of changes in
healthcare in the new millennium.
If you
