Application
Process
The
Burlington County College Foundation oversees a comprehensive scholarship
program for Burlington County College students. The Foundation Scholarships
are funded by generous contributions from area corporations, organizations,
and individuals.
There
are selection criteria that are common to all scholarship categories,
as well as criteria that are specific to individual scholarships.
This
web site contains the complete criteria and application deadlines
for each scholarship currently available to BCC students.
A downloadable/printable application form is also included.
The
Scholarship Application Process:
- Apply
for Financial Aid by the deadline required by Burlington County
College.

Review the list of available Foundation Scholarships, including
specific requirements for each. To

Complete the Foundation Scholarship Application and submit with
required documentation.
Common
Eligibility Criteria

Submit a minimum of two positive letters of recommendation.
- If
you previously attended or are currently attending college,
these letters should be from faculty and/or counselors who
have actually taught or counseled you at the relevant college.

If you have been out of high school for more than four years,
letters are acceptable from employers and/or officers of community
organizations in which you have worked/served.

If you are a recent high school graduate, the letters should
be from teachers and/or counselors who have actually taught
or counseled you in high school.

Submit a written essay(250-400 words) describing your academic
goals at Burlington County College and your career aspirations.
NOTE:
Check the scholarship description for each scholarship for which
you are applying to determine any additional required documents.
Recipients
of Burlington County College Foundation Scholarships are selected
without regard to race, gender, religion, national origin, age,
or disability unless otherwise stipulated by the donor. The amount
of awards is subject to availability of funds. There is no guarantee
of award of any scholarship in a given year. Scholarship donors
and the Burlington County College Foundation reserve the right to
modify scholarship criteria at any time.
Unless
otherwise noted, scholarships will be awarded in the form of a tuition/fee
waiver. No cash award will be made directly to the recipient(s).
