College Composition II
You will learn quickly that I encourage students to do whatever they can to succeed. Sometimes things come up in a semester that are out of your control, but if you make every effort to communicate with me in a timely manner, I am usually more than happy to make accommodations. Communication via e-mail and telephone goes a long way to establishing respect. Not allowing yourself to fall behind because of absences will show me that you are taking responsibility for your work. I expect regular participation in class discussions, fulfillment of the requirements of all assignments, consistent attendance, appropriate conduct toward classmates, and an overall positive contribution to the class.
