ESL 081 ESL Speech and Pronunciation I

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • communicate in everyday situations using beginning vocabulary and idiomatic expressions with improved fluency
  • recognize and use of the vowel and consonant sounds of English, including improved stress and intonation

 

ESL 082 ESL Speech and Pronunciation II

Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

  • communicate about opinions in daily and academic situations using intermediate vocabulary and idiomatic expressions with improved fluency
  • recognize and use of the vowel and consonant sounds of English, including improved stress and intonation

    ESL 083 ESL Speech and Pronunciation III

    Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • communicate about theory in academic situations using advanced vocabulary and idiomatic expressions with near fluency.
  • communicate about theory in academic situations using advanced vocabulary and idiomatic expressions with near fluency
  • recognize and use the vowel and consonant sounds of English, including near-native stress and intonation.
