ABOUT THE EOF PROGRAM

The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program was established in 1968 by the legislature of the state of New Jersey. The mission of the EOF program at BCC is to provide access to higher education for highly motivated students who exhibit the drive and potential to succeed academically, but whose families are disadvantaged by low income and lack of access to the quality educational resources that are necessary to succeed in college. The program typically recruits applicants who are historically underrepresented in higher education and who are first-generation, first-time, full-time freshman. EOF is comprehensive in its approach and ensures student success by maximizing educational opportunities through financial assistance and special support services designed to promote persistence through degree completion.
