LIFE (Learning Institute for Elders)
LIFE was founded in March 1990 by a group of retirees interested in continuing their education on an informal basis. It is sponsored by Burlington County College and the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (R&SVP) in cooperation with Elderhostel.
Membership is open to seniors 55 and over for an annual membership fee of $60. There are no other tuition fees. Members can sign up for as many classes as they like. During the course of a year we offer classes on a variety of topics including literature, music and computers. Newcomers find our conversation classes a good place to enter; during these we reminisce, discuss world problems, daily annoyances, and social issues. |
