Water Safety Instructional Aide

IT Student Technician
Description: Must be knowledgeable on minor PC troubleshooting, both with hardware and software. Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision. ESL Tutor
Description:
Tutor English as a Second Language (ESL) students individually or in small groups to help them improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
Tutor will help students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English by assisting them with related ESL Program work in courses in which they are enrolled.
Qualifications RequirementsCompleted Composition 101 with an A average or equivalent skills/eg. SAT test scores meeting established threshold to be exempt from Composition. Minimum GPA 3.0. Interest in and/or experience in working with multicultural/multilingual students. Excellent English oral communication skills and writing/reading skills. Experience in working in instructional contexts such as tutoring, mentoring, coaching, etc.

Art Labs - Ceramics
Job Responsibilities
Assist Instructional Assistants and Instructors in the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the Drawing/Painting and the Ceramics/Sculpture studios.
Assist the Instructional Assistants with the mixing of clay, recycling of clay and mixing of glazes.
Assist the Instructional Assistants with the loading and unloading of the kilns.
Qualifications Requirements:
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Preferred Skills:
Some knowledge in the handling of art materials.

Description: Notetaker for students with disabilities.
- Take accurate and comprehensive notes in lecture and lab settings
- Act as a reader and/or scribe in testing settings as necessary
Qualifications Requirement:

- Able to easily communicate with people
- Proficient in the English language
- Able to work independently
- Reliable

Knowledge of subject areas that Burlington County College teaches

Student Ambassador
Description: The Office of Recruitment seeks students for the BCC Ambassadorship Program. Duties of ambassador will include, but are not limited to, staffing community/on-campus events and guiding campus tours. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Mandatory events to include annual October open house and at least one BCC information session and Spring Ahead! early registration program day.
Requirements: Qualified candidates will be registered for no more than twelve credit hours of coursework, will have a standing grade point average of 2.5 or higher, possess good communication skills, be outgoing, and will have knowledge of the function and application of Microsoft Office Suite software. WebAdvisor experience is a plus.

Gallery Assistant

Job Responsibilities
Will assist in the manager in running the Student Art Gallery. This is a multifunction position with main objectives on customer service and individual project management.
- Provide quality customer service to all customers.
- Responsible for cash register on assigned shifts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment throughout the Student Art Gallery.
- Will abide by all employee policies and procedures.
- Will maintain a clean and orderly personal appearance.
- Responsible for short and long term goals being completed by the deadlines indicated by the gallery manager.
- Submit paperwork and reports by the deadlines assigned to them by the gallery manager.
- Responsible for inventory control.
- Assists the management team in the planning and production of Student Art Gallery Shows.
- Will hang Student Gallery exhibits – bending/lifting and utilizing a 6’ ladder is required.
- Must be able to travel to other campuses for off-site exhibits and workshops.
- Will be responsible for making multiple trips up to second and third floor storage areas via stairs.
- Must be able to lift/carry 25 to 50 lbs.
- Responsible for covering all Student Art Gallery events and show openings.
- Responsible for communicating clearly with the management team any questions or concerns that they may have.
- Accepts and carries out other pertinent duties as assigned.
Experience Desired:
Experience in art or retail helpful. Prefer someone interested in learning the business of gallery management. Experience in Word or Excel a plus. Must enjoy dealing with customers and the general public.
Preferred Skills:
Some knowledge in the handling of art materials.

Student Worker
Description: Student will assist WBZC Operations Manager/ Program Director with day to day operation of WBZC
- Load programming into automation system
- Assist promotions department with promotion events, giveaways and social media updates
- Assist production department with loading public services announcement into automation system and tracking them on a monthly basis.
- Assist with training new students on radio station procedures
Requirements: Student must have volunteered at least one semester at WBZC and knowledgeable of Cool Edit Pro/Adobe Audtion
