Head Coach Carolyn Jones is entering her 8th year at the helm of the women’s basketball program. Jones’ overall collegiate record at RCBC is 119-57 heading into the 2015-2016 season. Coach Jones has led the Barons to consecutively qualify for the Region XIX Tournament each post season leading to a Region XIX Runner up and two Garden State Athletic Conference Titles.
However, Jones is most proud of her teams NJCAA All-Academic Team honor in 2013, and the number of student-athletes who have continued their education and graduated from 4-year colleges and universities. Jones values player development under the team umbrella with focus on improving athletic and academic performance through hard work, life balance and preparation. Her responsibilities include the overall management of the women’s basketball program, including retention and placement of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes into four-year colleges and universities.
A native of Burlington County, Jones graduated from Burlington Township High School, where she played basketball and softball, and Duke University.
Assistant Coach , Women's Basketball - Kendra Johnson
Kendra Johnson, a 2013 graduate from Rutgers-Newark, is in her third year coaching at RCBC.
- Johnson is an alumnus of RCBC and the Barons Department of Athletics. In the 2008-2009 season Johnson was named First Team All-GSAC and All-Region. She was ranked first in the nation in steals, 25th in scoring, 17th in assists and was named Freshmen Athlete of the year at RCBC.
- In her 2009-2010 season, Johnson was selected as an pre-season NJCAA All-American, Second Team All-Region and First Team All-GSAC. She led her to team to a conference championship and received her 1000th point her sophomore year.
- Johnson ended her academic and athletic career at Rutgers-Newark University as a Lady Raider where she lead her team to the most winning season the Women’s Basketball team had in over 15 years with the record of 20-9.
Kendra works on individual skill development with a greater focus on guard development; recruitment and administrative game management here at RCBC.
