ACADEMIC SUPPORT

The Athletic Department of Rowan College at Burlington County is dedicated to the academic growth of all our student athletes.  It is our goal to provide every student athlete that comes to RCBC the necessary tools and resources to achieve their academics goals.

Academic Support Resources

Academic Monitoring System

The Academic Monitoring System is designed to assist student athletes at Rowan College at Burlington County in achieving their academic goals and give them the resources they need to excel in the classroom.  Our program helps identify problems at an early stage and initiate a plan of action to overcome any hurdles a student may have while at RCBC. Each student will meet with the Athletics staff once a month for academic support.  At this meeting our student athletes are given a monitoring form that all of their professors will complete which will give the athletic staff the information necessary to provide any  services our student athlete may need.  Click on the forms section of our website for a copy of our academic monitoring sheet.

Study Halls

All of our athletic programs at RCBC offer our student athletes mandatory study hall hours.  These study halls will give the student athlete the opportunity to develop consistent and suitable study patterns by providing a structured setting to work on class assignments and to provide academic assistance before academic problems arise.  Study Halls not only function as a supervised study time in a student athlete friendly environment, but also serves as a way to help students organize their time more efficiently. Study Hall is a positive experience aimed at helping students become academically successful at RCBC.
