BCC is interested in creating a pool of adjunct professors qualified to teach the following ASL/IE courses which are offered during fall and/or spring semester:

| ASL 202* | Intermediate American Sign Language II |
|
| IEP 111* | Contrastive Linguistics |
|
| IEP 102** | Interpreter Ethics |
|
| IEP 210** | Introduction to Interpreting |
|
| IEP 211** | Sign to Voice |
|
| IEP 221** | Voice to Sign |
|
| IEP 232** | Transliteration |
|
| IEP 242** | Practicum in Interpreting |
|
Credentials:
| *Applicants should | have an ASLTA teacher certificate, |
| OR be fluent in ASL and its mechanics with knowledge of fingerspelling theory and practice.. | |
| ** Applicants should | have a Master's degree in Interpreting (or a related field) with national certification |
| OR a Baccalaureate degree in Interpreting (or a related field) with
national certification
AND at least five years interpreting experience |
|
| OR an Associates degree in Interpreting (or a related field) with national
certification
AND at least ten years interpreting experience. |
|
| Experience teaching comparable courses at a college level is preferred. | |
