Selection of GER and program courses should be made based upon knowledge of the acceptability of transfer to the receiving college.  Transfer articulation guides are available in the campus libraries (Pemberton and Mt. Laurel) or in the Student Service Center (Parker 311B) in Pemberton.

Requirements

Successful completion of any and all required remedial courses as determined by the college's basic skills placement test and ENG 101 College Composition I prior to or concurrent with ASL 103 (which is a corequisite of ASL 101).

Successful completion with a 'C' or better in the following before taking Interpreter Education (IEP) courses:

ASL 101 Elementary American Sign Language I
ASL 103 Deafness & Culture (concurrent with ASL 101)
ASL 102 Elementary American Sign Language II
ASL 104 Fingerspelling (concurrent with ASL 102)
Achievement of a BCC cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.25 or greater.

A 'C' grade or higher in all ASL/IE courses.
