ASL-102  Elementary American Sign Language II  3 cr.  (offered during Fall and Spring)

This course is designed for students with limited knowledge of Deaf American culture or its language, American Sign Language (ASL). Training is designed to build on demonstrated receptive and expressive skills in the language and on demonstrated skills in using an encrypted system of ASL. Expands to include rhetorical questions and conditionals.

Prerequisites:  ASL-101 Elementary American Sign Language I 3 cr. and ASL-103 Deafness & Culture 3 cr.

Corequisites:  ASL-104 Fingerspelling 3 cr.
