President's Message
January 2007 The future for the BCC Alumni Association is promising new and exciting times. Over the coming months, the association will embark on a revitalization effort that is hoped to encourage alumni members to take an active part in building on its foundation for enhancing campus life and contributing financial support for students who show desire but need help to continue their education. As a proud part of a great college, plans for the association are to strive toward maintaining the connection between the college and its alumni, while at the same time re-establishing those broken over the years. Key in this endeavor will be teamwork among individuals willing to commit their time and energy and the right mix of activities and programs that interest alumni and the community at-large. Our first step is to increase membership on the association’s board of trustees and committee involvement Plus, updates to the association’s website and the revival of the alumni newsletter hope to reconnect BCC alumni with the college community and with one another.
