How do I become an ACTIVE member of the alumni association?
Whatever your interests, there's a role for you. Volunteer to help with special events, or join the Membership Committee to increase active participation in alumni activities. Participate with Fundraising and help us build support for scholarships and other important programs. Write for the Alumni Newsletter or work on the website.

What is the ALUMNI ASSOCIATION?
As a graduate of a Burlington County College degree or certificate program you are automatically a member of the Burlington County College Alumni Association. Membership in the Association is open to all persons who meet this criterion and no membership fees are required. The Burlington County College Alumni Association was incorporated in 1977 as a non-profit corporation governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Its reasons for forming were for exclusively charitable and educational purposes. This organization supports the goals and objectives of Burlington County College, its alumni, and its students.
How are the members of the ALUMNI BOARD selected?
Members of the board are selected through an interview process with the officers of the board.
What types of CAREER SERVICES are available to me?

The donation form can be printed and mailed to the alumni office. Checks can be made payable to BCCF-Alumni Fund.

Are there any DUES or fees required to join the Alumni Association?
No, being part of the alumni association is free.
How do I find out about alumni EVENTS?
Please verify with the Alumni Office that your current address is on file. Newsletters and other mailings will indicate alumni events taking place, and our website will be updated to include any events taking place at BCC.
How can I reach FACULTY?
First check the faculty directory. If you cannot find the individual's contact information there, contact the Liberal Arts secretary at ext. 1601 for a Liberal Arts faculty member or the Science, Math, and Technology secretary at ext. 1402 for a Science, Math, and Technology faculty member.
Who FUNDS the alumni association?
The Association's various endeavors over the past quarter century have been funded largely by generous contributions from our members.
How can I GIVE back to BCC?
You can become a member of the Alumni Board and/or donate a gift by downloading the donation form
Do you have to be a BCC GRADUATE to participate?
According to the bylaws, the completion of a degree or certification at Burlington County College makes a student eligible to be a part of the Alumni Board. However, if you have not completed a degree or certificate but would still like to volunteer at events and serve on committees, please contact the Alumni office at extension 2510.
What is the alumni HALL OF FAME?
The alumni prestigious hall of fame inducts someone each year who is a graduate BCC, has achieved significant success in his/her career field, and has contributed significantly, and in a continuing manner, to the public good via community service or ongoing volunteer service to the college. Examples include leadership positions with non-profit organizations and volunteer activities with schools or religious organizations, though such service can take many forms.

Who can JOIN the alumni association?
You are automatically a member once you graduate from any BCC degree or certificate programs.
May I use the LIBRARY?
Yes, use of the library is free to all alumni.
How MANY Burlington County College alumni are there?
There are approximately 13,000 alumni but that number increases as each graduating class is inducted into the association.
Does the alumni association have a NEWSLETTER?
Yes, the Burlington Beacon is published semi-annually.
How can I NOMINATE someone for the Hall of Fame?
To submit a nomination, answer all of the questions on the Hall of Fame application form.
Where are the alumni OFFICES located?
Parker Center 413C and 413R on the Pemberton Campus. To contact the alumni office, dial extension 1298.
How OLD is the BCC alumni association?
The alumni association was incorporated on April 4, 1977.
How do I UPDATE my address?
Please send your old address (including maiden name if applicable) along with your new address to bmichael@bcc.edu and the information will be updated in our system.
What SCHOLARSHIPS do the alumni association offer?
The Burlington County College Alumni Association Scholarship and the Harmon B. Pierce Memorial Scholarship. Both award outstanding academic achievement at the high school or college level.
How can I submit my STORY to appear in the newsletter?

Is my gift TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Is being an active member of the alumni association a big TIME investment?
Alumni Board meetings are held once a month and committee meetings are held according to projects the alumni may be working on at that time.
How do I obtain a copy of my TRANSCRIPTS?
You can get an unofficial copy of your grades through webAdvisor. For official transcripts, fill out the transcript request form and turn it in to registration with the payment amount stated on the form for each request. Please allow five (5) business days for the processing of transcript requests. Call ext. 1396 if you should have any other questions.

Yes, as an alumnus of Burlington County College, you are eligible to join the gym for a reduced registration fee. Please call the fitness center at ext. 1435 for more information and to sign up!
