Many students are confused as to How, Where and When to apply for transfer to 4 year institutions.
A lot of you out there are just wondering:
    · If the college of your choice has your major and what will they accept from BCC?
    · What are the Dual Admission Agreements and who are they with?
    · How do you apply to that program?
    · What is an Articulation Contract and who does BCC have them with?

DUAL ADMISSIONS

Burlington County College has Dual Admission Agreements with the following colleges and universities:

Arcadia, Fairleigh Dickinson, Monmouth, Monntclair, Morgan State, NJIT, Rider, Rutgers, The College of NJ, Monmouth , Morgan State and Stockton.

To be officially registered into one of these programs you must contact the Office of Student Support Services currently located in the Parker Center - Room 311
or call (609) 894-9311 - extensions 1889 or 1337
Dr. Robert Ariosto- Transfer Coordinator is in charge of these programs.

A Dual Admissions application must be completed and returned to the office in order for you to be evaluated as to your status for admission to one of these programs. If eligible you will be scheduled for an individual appointment to discuss future course requirements and transferability.

The BENEFITS

As long as a student completes all of the courses and maintains the proper GPA (grade point average), completes the transfer school's applications and retrieves all necessary documents for the admissions packet - our office will submit the packet and you will be accepted (NO APPLICATION FEES !!) at the institution that you have chosen.

ARTICULATION AGREEMENTS

These are agreements between other 4-yr institutions and BCC to benefit our college students in transferring of courses and credits. There are articulation books currently housed in both college Libraries (main campus and TEC) and in the Academic Support Services Office in Parker 311. Those articulation books are loaded with information on the various colleges.

A list of the BCC courses and corresponding transfer course numbers (if they transfer) are available on this website.  Return to the homepage and select the table you wish to view.
If there is not a course number after the BCC course, that means the college does not have a course equivalent to that course. They may accept it as elective credit, or, may not accept the course at all.
