ETC Mission and Goals
The Educational Technology
Center (ETC) at Burlington County College was established in 1996 for faculty and staff
development.
Mission
The Educational Technology Center provides leadership and training to faculty and other College personnel, in order to promote and encourage the incorporation of appropriate technologies into their activities at the College. Emphasis is given to technologies that directly enhance the curriculum.
Goals
- The Center provides rapid response, task specific, technology training and support to faculty, upon request. This training usually takes the form
of one-on-one coaching or tutoring.
- The ETC Lab is a small classroom / laboratory facility that is used for: technology related workshops and seminars;
faculty and staff technology projects; small group meetings and other uses as required.
- The Center periodically assesses the technology needs of the College to inform the College community of current technology trends and
technologies that could enhance the College's ability to perform its mission and meet its goals.
- The Center develops and offers in-service workshops on available technologies to faculty, staff, administration, partners and other members of
the College community.
The Center exists to support all College employees and associated personnel.

Although the Center is located on the College's Pemberton campus, the Educational Technology Specialist
does make occasional trips to the Mt. Laurel campus to run classes and for open consultation hours. Please see the current
ETC class schedule for regularly scheduled visits to Mt. Laurel or call the Center and request a visit at your
convenience!
