Personal Bio
I began my teaching career with the Vineland Public School District in Vineland, New Jersey, where I held a range of fulltime positions at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. My additional participation in the Basic Skills Reading and Writing Program and the New Jersey GED Program began to set a path toward where I am today.
After sixteen years, I resigned from my Vineland position in order to be home with my three children while they were young. When my youngest child entered first grade, I began teaching Reading and Writing Basic Skills courses at Camden County College as an adjunct professor.
In Fall 2000, I accepted a fulltime BCC Developmental Reading position, which I have held since then. As program coordinator, I have worked hard to make the BCC Developmental Reading Program the model of excellence and consistency that it is today. I feel fortunate to have a career that I find to be both meaningful and enjoyable.
