Sharing the GroupWise Custom Address
Books
The address book owner
can share their customized books with other GroupWise system users. All items placed in the address book will be
available only to those who have been granted access rights to the book.
Using Shared Address Books
in GroupWise Web”
1)GroupWise Web users
will receive the following email notification when an address book is shared
with them.
Note the “book share icon” will appear next to
message.

2) The user will click open the message and must
click ‘accept’ to have the address book automatically placed in their address book listing

2) Once the address book
has been accepted, the user will click on their GroupWise web address book
icon. Inside the address book they’ll
select the shared books from the list, select “Search Address” and “mail to” directly from them or “customize” into personal sub-groups.

3)Click “Search Address

4)Users can email to
contacts directly from the shared list or setup a custom “group list” from the
shared book. This is done by selecting
the “SAVE GROUP” button which will prompt the save group box.

5)Once the “save group”
window has been filled in with the desired group name and description
information, the customized group will appear listed in that specific address
book.

6)Users can now mail
from either the address book or from their “Customized” group within
that book once
they’ve selected their group:
a.
Double-Click to put group or name in “To” field area
b. Click
“Mail” button to compose personal message.
